Shipping & Returns
Items that are are in stock and ship UPS, FEDEX, or USPS will ship within 3-7 business days. Then you can expect your package within 3-5 days from the day it ships. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same shipment as we use multiple warehouses across the country. If you order an item that is not in stock we will notify you within 24 hours M-F. At this point we only ship within the 48 contiguous states. We do not offer shipping to Canada, Hawaii, or Alaska.
Custom, made-to-order pillows will arrive on your doorstep in 3-4 weeks from purchase date.
Furniture and other oversized item traveling via Freight Carrier take longer to arrive. On average freight shipments take up to 10 business days to ship and then there is travel time as well. If you are interested in a white glove delivery please call for a shipping quote (202)-686-1586. An additional charge will be applied.
Once you have been contacted by the local delivery agent to set up your delivery, you must be scheduled it within 5 business days. Please leave your phone number on your order form.
Please select one of the expedited shipping options when checking out. If the product ships from a different warehouse we will do our best to have them ship expedited as well. Items that ship freight cannot be expedited.
Processing and Confirmation
Order confirmations will be sent to you via e-mail once your order has been placed. Orders not canceled within 24 hours will be processed. We will send you an email once your item has shipped with tracking information. You can track your package at any time using the link provided in your shipment confirmation e-mail. Freight carriers tracking systems work differently. You may have to reach out on their websites to track your freight shipment. Please note that tracking number will take up to 24 hours to become activated by the carrier's tracking system, so if the link is not yet active when you receive our e-mail, please allow 24 - 48 hours for the system to update.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with all of your Mintwood Home purchases. If you are not satisfied, please fill out our return form below within 72 hours of receiving your purchase. We charge a 20% restocking fee for furniture, lighting, and rugs. Some of the brands we sell charge a restocking fee for sending the items back to the manufacturer. Custom items such as but not limited to pillows from Mintwood Home, Intaglios, Custom Art, Paul Montgomery Mural Sources, Regina Andrew, Newport Cottages, Natural Curiosities, Lands Down Under, and Old World Designs are not eligible for return or exchange. Please contact us to see if your product would require an additional fee for return before purchasing if you are concerned. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. When returning an item back to us, please make sure to ship back in the original packaging and choose a reliable shipping carrier that offers tracking as well as delivery confirmation. Once we receive the item and inspect it to ensure no damages we will refund your card minus the cost of shipping. Please note that if we gave free FREIGHT shipping, the refund amount will be less the amount of the original freight shipping cost that we paid to get the item to you. If your item was purchased during a shipping promotion, a 10% return shipping fee will be deducted from the order. If your item is marked as FINAL SALE, MADE TO ORDER, or CUSTOM it is not eligible for return.
Even though we do our best to ensure safe delivery of all products, sometimes damages occur while an item is traveling to you. Please file a damages claim within 24 hours of receiving the item, be sure to include all information indicated below.
