The Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar!
We like our Bloody Marys to be a meal so for us, the more fixin's the better. Right!? We're talking bacon, cheese, okra, stuffed olives, cheese straws, pickles, hot peppers, celery and old bay dusted shrimp to name a few of our faves. Also, the spicier the better in our book!

Nothing is more fun than push-pop confetti, however, we do recommend making this an outdoor activity...we speak from experience. We also love Emma's idea to use the quartz rock box for collecting each guests best moment from 2015 and reading them allowed after midnight.

We think that every NYE party cocktail should be served in a gold rimmed glass! Coasters are also a must-have when entertaining, scatter them around before guests arrive and hope for the best.

You already know that anything black and white and gold is a must-have in our book. Serve up a classy charcuterie board and a fruit salad for your guests.

Gratitudes
When our friend Kelly of Winifred Paper invited us to be a part of this styled Valentine's Day shoot, we were over the moon. We had no idea what to expect but the experience alone was more than we could have ever asked for. Spending the afternoon in the presence of such creative, talented women and entrepreneurs left us feeling energized and inspired beyond measure. While we are thrilled to be featured in this post on Style Me Pretty Living, we are even more grateful to see our name alongside such talent.
Ok, enough gushing, go check it out for yourself because these photos are to-die-for! xo

Mintwood Social: A Cheerful Christmas Spread
The Holiday season is officially in full force and we could not agree more that this really is "the best time of the year!" Whether you're hosting a cocktail party for your besties or having your family over for Christmas dinner, it's always fun to have a beautifully decorated (and not overly involved or fussy) tablescape. So go ahead--pick that holly out of your neighbor's yard, add a sprig of rosemary to your napkin tie (smells great too), spray paint pinecones gold. Nothing too fancy but it sure looks good.
Merry merry!
