Friendsgiving, our favorite new holiday!
Plates: The chances that you have matching plates and silverware for the entire "listserv" of people that you've invited over are not that high, but that doesn't mean you can't have a great looking and PRACTICAL friendsgiving spread. Get a few people to bring the plates, mix them up and place them stacked at the beginning of your buffet line. It looks intentional, relaxed, and dare we say, kind of cool!
Wine: Let's be real. Friendsgiving isn't Friendsgiving without copious amounts of wine. Are we right?
Silverware: Stack it in mason jars next to the plates. This saves space and keeps silverware organized.
It's Fall Y'all: Fancy place settings? Girl, please! Get outside and pick up some pretty fall leaves, add a name tag, and taa-dah, everyone will be super impressed by your crafty nature decor.
A Typical Thanksgiving Feast!
This Thanksgiving table setting provides the perfect backdrop to celebrate what's really important - the friends and family around the table.
Place Settings: These DIY placemats are an easy and thoughtful way to ground each place setting. They also make a great conversation starter. What are you thankful for? Gold spray painted pumpkins are also a fun and easy way to spice up each place setting. Guests can take them home or leave them behind.
Fun Adult Beverages: Specialty cocktails are always a hit, look for something easy and seasonal that will fit in with your traditional meal.
Centerpieces: Pumpkin flower arrangements are an easy way to utilize any leftover pumpkins from Halloween! Simply scoop out the insides and use oasis to put together a fun fall arrangement.
