Our Promise

We thoughtfully curate every piece in our collection and partner with exceptional makers around the world to bring you furniture and décor that feel beautiful, lasting, and intentional. From craftsmanship and materials to safety and sustainability, each item is selected with care and held to high standards.

We truly hope you love everything you bring into your home. If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to accept eligible returns in unused, resaleable condition within 7 days of delivery (exclusions apply; see below). A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all orders. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Is My Item Eligible for Return?

Return eligibility is listed on each product page. We are unable to accept returns for:

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces
  • Used items or items without original packaging
  • Altered items (repainted, refinished, cut, etc.)
  • Final sale items or gift cards
  • Design services
  • Large furniture items

Ineleigble Return Reasons

  • Design or cosmetic reasons (i.e. item doesn't match color in space, slight alterations in color due to custom pieces, etc.)
  • Item does not fit in space. It is expected that all spaces will be measured before placing an order.
  • You don't like the piece.
  • Damages were not recorded upon delivery.
  • Damages were incurred and shipping insurance was not purchased. We strongly recommend insuring every purchase on Mintwood Home's site.

Returns of Furniture

Each furniture piece is made to order, and we do not keep inventory on hand. Because of this, we are unable to accept furniture returns.

If you need help arranging repairs please reach out to our team and we would be happy to assist.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to our terms and conditions.

Why Restocking Fees Apply

Returning furniture requires significant handling, inspection, and labor. In many cases, items arrive back with packaging damage or transit wear that prevents resale. Restocking fees help offset these costs and allow us to continue offering carefully handled, high-quality pieces.

Damages

Damages happen in our industry. Not to worry, we are here to help!

Any damages must be reported to Mintwood Home within 24 hours. If your order is delivered White Glove, you must note the damages with our delivery driver and have them document the damages. Any unreported damages are not eligible for a damage claim. If the damage is extensive enough we recommend refusing delivery so we can get a new piece shipped out to you ASAP.

Damages can also be covered through our shipping insurance partner, ShipInsure. We highly recommend insuring all pieces purchased on Mintwood Home's site.

If damages are not reported to the carrier and shipping insurance was not purchased, we will not accept the damage claim.

How to Start a Return or Reporting Damages or Initiating a Return

To initiate a return or report damages, please keep your original packaging and submit your request within 7 days of delivery.

You can request a return by emailing our customer care team at info@mintwoodhome.com. Please include the following information:

  • First & Last Name
  • Order Number
  • Item information
  • Photos of damages if applicable
