From the moment you choose a piece for your home, we want every step that follows to reflect the same care and craftsmanship that went into creating it. That includes delivery. Our White Glove delivery service is designed to ensure your furniture arrives safely, is handled with the utmost respect, and is placed perfectly in your space.

Your White Glove delivery will include:

  • Visual inspection of package prior to delivery
  • Appointment scheduling
  • 30-minute call ahead by your delivery specialists
  • Two-level walk up, placement of your furniture into your room of choice
  • Unpacking & light assembly (up to 30 minutes)
  • Debris removal

Preparing for delivery

  • Move pets to a separate room to keep them safe.
  • You will receive a call 2-3 days prior to your scheduled delivery date to confirm your 4-hour delivery window.
  • If you need to adjust your scheduled delivery date, please call us no later than 24 hours from your scheduled delivery date at (800) 300-7417 between 7:00AM and 10:00PM EST Monday through Friday or 7:00AM to 8:00PM EST Saturday to reschedule. Otherwise, additional fees may apply.
  • Signature required for proof of delivery.

If your item is marked as FINAL SALE, MADE TO ORDER, or CUSTOM it is not eligible for return or cancellation.

These items are made with love and each product is created specifically for you. Because of the effort that goes into creating custom and made to order products we cannot accept returns or cancellation requests for these items.

Our Promise

We thoughtfully curate every piece in our collection and partner with exceptional makers around the world to bring you furniture and décor that feel beautiful, lasting, and intentional. From craftsmanship and materials to safety and sustainability, each item is selected with care and held to high standards.

We truly hope you love everything you bring into your home. If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to accept eligible returns in unused, resaleable condition within 7 days of delivery (exclusions apply; see below). A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all orders. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Is My Item Eligible for Return?

Return eligibility is listed on each product page. We are unable to accept returns for:

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces
  • Used items or items without original packaging
  • Altered items (repainted, refinished, cut, etc.)
  • Final sale items or gift cards
  • Design services

Ineleigble Return Reasons

  • Design or cosmetic reasons (i.e. item doesn't match color in space, slight alterations in color due to custom pieces, etc.)
  • Item does not fit in space. It is expected that all spaces will be measured before placing an order.
  • You don't like the piece.
  • Damages were not recorded upon delivery.

Returns of Furniture

Each furniture piece is made to order, and we do not keep inventory on hand. Because of this, we are unable to accept furniture returns back to our studio. In some cases, an item may be eligible for return directly to the maker—please contact our customer care team within 24 hours of delivery to inquire about eligibility, along with any applicable restocking or return shipping fees. Not all items will qualify.

If complimentary shipping was included with your order, the original outbound freight cost will be deducted from any approved refund.

Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. All items must be returned in their original packaging, shipped prepaid, and fully insured for the purchase value. We cannot assume responsibility for items that arrive back to the maker damaged; in these cases, the customer must file a claim directly with the carrier.

Custom, made-to-order, painted, monogrammed, or personalized pieces are final sale and cannot be returned. If an item listing includes finish, fabric, or color selections, it is considered custom made to your specifications and is therefore non-returnable. We are always happy to provide samples prior to purchase to help you feel confident in your selections.

Why Restocking Fees Apply

Returning furniture requires significant handling, inspection, and labor. In many cases, items arrive back with packaging damage or transit wear that prevents resale. Restocking fees help offset these costs and allow us to continue offering carefully handled, high-quality pieces.

Damages

Damages happen in our industry. Not to worry, we are here to help!

Any damages must be reported to Mintwood Home within 24 hours. If your order is delivered White Glove, you must note the damages with our delivery driver and have them document the damages. Any unreported damages are not eligible for a damage claim. If the damage is extensive enough we recommend refusing delivery so we can get a new piece shipped out to you ASAP.

How to Start a Return or Report Damages

To initiate a return, please keep your original packaging and submit your request within 7 days of delivery.
